چکیده
Background and Aim: Vitamin D is linked to the prevalence severity of cardiac autonomic neuropathy in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM). Autonomic dysfunctions are evident newly diagnosed T2DM subjects. However, association level with dysfunction remains unclear. To study relationship between status cardiovascular function T2DM. Methods: One group descriptive 47 patients (mean age 39±4 years, 23 males 24 females), recruited based on American Association (ADA) criteria outpatient clinic Jawaharlal Institute Post Graduate Medical Education Research, Puducherry, India. Cardiovascular functions including heart rate variability, baroreflex sensitivity other conventional tests were measured. The 25-hydroxy D[25(OH)D] was measured using chemiluminescence assay technique. Results: mean serum 25(OH)D concentration 17.49±7.10, all had Low levels (<30 ng/mL). There significant negative correlations basal HR (P=0.006), LF(nu) (P=0.010), LF-HF ratio (P=0.023); positive BRS (P=0.007), HF(nu) (P<0.001) TP (P=0.002). Conclusion: decrease subjects it showed markers sympathovagal imbalance. This might increase risk them.
